Is Hive Quarters an Airbnb operator?

No. Hive Quarters specialises in long term rentals. The minimum tenancy with a tenant is one year, which gives owners more stable income than short-stay letting.

What happens if only some rooms in my unit are rented out?

Fees are based on gross rental collected. If a room is empty, nothing is charged for it. Hive Quarters maintains a sustained occupancy rate of 90 to 95 percent.

Who pays the electricity, water and internet bills?

Hive Quarters pays the TNB electricity and water bills directly. Internet is also paid by Hive Quarters and deducted from the rental collection.

Do owners receive a monthly statement?

Yes. A statement is emailed automatically on the 15th of every month, showing tenant full name, tenancy start and end dates, tenure, rental collected, and any charges or refunds.

How does an owner get started with Hive Quarters?

Four steps: book an appointment, pass over the keys and access card, sign the agreement, and the unit goes live. Overseas owners can mail or courier their keys and access card to the Hive Quarters HQ in Kuala Lumpur.

Q1. What is our Fee / Charges?

Monthly Fee

Our profit sharing ratio allocates 85% to the owner, with the remaining 15% retained by our company (Hive).
